Happy Birthday, Hal

I needed a birthday card for our college age grandson - they live at the edge of the Rockies, so this image (Our Daily Bread)  is a great one for him.  My original plan was to closely follow Chris Olsen's lovely example (ODB), but the card soon took on a life of its own.  I used chalk for the bg; added twine and brads to make it more masculine.  I also thought the snowflakes would be appropriate.  By the way, I made a tiny dent in that big supply of brads ... wonder about those eyelets that are gathering dust...

So beautiful!! I love the blue with the mountains in black and white! The twine is the perfect finishing touch! Thanks for joining us at ODBD! Merry Christmas!
